Plant lovers needed; DIY Neighborhood Clean-up

Neighbors,

Looking for something to do? Feel like gettin’ your “eco” on in the neighborhood? We’ve got two things for you!

We need your help maintaining the ocean-friendly corner gardens throughout the neighborhood. Out for a walk? How about helping create a photo-map of the ‘gardens’ to determine which locations are thriving and which need some love?  We have a budget in place for upkeep…we just need some helping hands. Please contact Angie for more information: president@mychna.org.

We hope your household will team up with Tampa Bay Watch (https://tampabaywatch.org/) for their “DIY in July Neighborhood Clean-up.” Here is the info directly from Tampa Bay Watch:Take action in your community to remove debris before it enters our waterways! This summer’s event is a DIY “Do it yourself” Neighborhood Cleanup! We want to encourage YOU to hit those places in YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD where you’ve noticed sadly forgotten or misplaced trash.  How will we know when and where you clean up? Your cleanup efforts can take place on any day within the month of July. We will send all registered volunteers a link with a survey created by Tampa Bay Watch which can be completed on any smartphone or tablet device. You and your group will fill out the short survey during your cleanup, click submit and the data will be sent directly to Tampa Bay Watch. Your safety is most important to us! Please do not put yourself at risk for any reason and follow all CDC COVID-19 Guidelines during your cleanup. Please click here to register for the cleanup.

Thanks, neighbors, for caring about Crescent Heights.
